ABOUT

 Pap Joe and Nice Mammy led lives marked by love, commitment, and a passion for community. Born in Lafferty, OH, in 1944 and 1945 respectively, they dedicated themselves to both their faith and their work, leaving a lasting impact on those around them.

FAITH

 As devoted members of the Assumption Catholic Church, Pap Joe and Nice Mammy were known for their unwavering attendance at mass, demonstrating a deep commitment to their spiritual community. Their strong faith was a cornerstone of their lives, reflecting their values of love, service, and generosity. 

WORK

 Pap Joe enjoyed a successful career as a mine foreman, where he dedicated over 30 years of service, while Nice Mammy’s career as a teacher and principal allowed her to shape young minds and contribute to education in meaningful ways. Their professional achievements were complemented by a mutual love for the outdoors and travel, where they delighted in exploring new culinary experiences as self-proclaimed "gourmands." Their shared passion for good food often led them on adventures near and far, always in search of the next delightful meal.

FAMILY

 Family was at the heart of everything they did. They cherished spending time with loved ones, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Their warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, as they were always willing to share a moment of conversation or a listening ear with those they knew.

LOVE

 The love that Pap Joe and Nice Mammy had for each other was remarkable—a true blessing that inspired those around them. Together, they exemplified a partnership built on mutual respect and devotion, leaving behind a legacy of love, community involvement, and cherished memories. Their lives were a testament to the importance of family, faith, and the joy found in both the simple and grand moments shared with others.
